I am a mathematician working in the Differential Geometry Group at the Mathematical Institute of the University of Münster. I am an Investigator in the DFG-funded Cluster of Excellence Mathematics Münster: Dynamics – Geometry – Structure and a Principal Investigator in the DFG-funded Collaborative Research Center Geometry: Deformations and Rigidity.
Before coming back to Münster, I also worked in Fribourg, Manchester, Bonn, Karlsruhe and Augsburg.
I obtained my PhD in 2010 at the University of Fribourg under the supervision of Anand Dessai and my Habilitation in 2017 at the University of Augsburg with the guidance of Bernhard Hanke.
I co-organized the Workshop on Curvature and Global Shape in Münster in the years 2019, 2021, 2023 and 2025.
